These participants are 9 teacher candidates studying in different departments of a university in Istanbul. The data of the research were obtained with the aesthetic objects and semi-structured interview forms chosen by the teacher candidates. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis. Researcher triangulation was used to ensure reliability in the research. Compatibility between encoders is set at .89. The findings of the research were explained under the theme of “sensory perception development of teacher candidates”. In this theme, it is explained with sub-themes such as "the aesthetic aspect of the chosen object, the aesthetic interest in the work of art, the integration of the aesthetic and environment in our environment and the artistic product". Within the framework of these sub-themes, it can be said that the sensory perception method applied in the art and aesthetics course improves visual perception and increases aesthetic sensitivity. In addition, based on the findings of the research, it has been suggested that the sensory perception method can be performed in younger age groups.
