YÖK- Dünya Bankası Projesi bağlamında, 1997 yılında üniversiteler yeniden yapılandırılmıştır. Üniversitelerin sanat ve sanat eğitimi alanları yeniden yapılandırılırken, Türk Eğitim Tarihi içinde özgün bir yer tutan sanat eğitimi, kurumlarından ve geleneğinden yararlanılmamış, hatta yok sayılarak ötelenmiştir. YÖK- Dünya Bankası Milli Eğitimi Geliştirme Projesi Hizmet Öncesi Öğretmen Eğitimi Programları Amerikalı danışmanlarca “milli” olmanın uzağında, kültürel ve sanatsal üretimin uygulama ayakları kırılarak yapılandırılmıştır. 1997-1998 Öğretim yılında “tek bir harfi dahi değiştirilemez” şartı ile uygulamaya konan Resim- İş Öğretmenliği Programı iki kez devşirilerek değişikliğe uğramıştır. 2006 ve 2018 Yılında yapılan son değişiklikte ise Türk sanatı ve kimliğinin son halkası ÇAĞDAŞ TÜRK SANATI DERSİ’nin kaldırılıp, yeni programda bu derse yer verilmeyerek, projenin “milli” görünümünün ardında Türk kimliğini, sanatını ve kültürünü yok sayan asıl ve nihai hedefi açığa vurulmuştur. Bu çalışmada; ÇAĞDAŞ TÜRK SANATI DERSİ örneğinden hareketle, Türk kimliğinin, kültürünün, sanatının ve sanat eğitiminin köklerinden ve geleneğinden koparılıp, yeniden yapılanma demagojisi ile yıpratılarak yozlaştırılmaya çalışılması irdelenecektir.

In the 1997-1998 Academic Year, the Art Teaching Program, which was put into effect on the condition that “even one word cannot be changed”, was modified and changed twice. In the last modification, which was done in the years 2006 and 2018, the Contemporary Turkish Art course, which was the last link of the Turkish art and identity, was abolished and not given a place in the program; therefore, it was revealed that the aim of project was to ignore the Turkish identity, art and culture behind its “national” appearance. In this study, based on the Contemporary Turkish Art Course case, the effort to the separation of the Turkish identity, culture art and art education from its roots and tradition by damaging and degenerating it with the demagogy ‘reconstruction’.
