Plagiarism / Similarity Check

In accordance with publication ethics, The Journal of International Art and Art Education (JIA Journal) subjects every article submitted for publication to a plagiarism/similarity check.

Policy and Threshold

• The maximum permissible similarity rate for articles submitted to the journal is 30%.

• This rate must be obtained with no filters applied and including the bibliography.

Screening Process

• Editors may utilize any plagiarism screening software they deem appropriate for this check.

• Our journal currently uses "intihal.net" software for plagiarism detection.

Consequences

• Manuscripts exceeding the 30% similarity index will be rejected without further review.

• Authors are responsible for ensuring their submissions adhere to academic integrity standards before submission.
